Both teams had lots of shots, but only one went in for goal very late to make an exciting finish.
On balance, the Swedes probably had the better chances at goal overall, with none better than in the 59th minute.
That's when Marcus Allback found himself in a one on one situation with Paraguay keeper Aldo Bobadilla. Allback attempted a high lofter over Bodadilla. It appeared to be heading for a goal, but it was hit a tad too tamely, giving just enough time for defender Denis Caniza to fly in and clear it off the line at the last second.

The winner came in the 89th minute when Marcus Allback headed back to Freddie Ljungberg who headed in from close range, making Paraguay the third team to be eliminated from the competition alongside Group A's Poland and Costa Rica.
Ljungberg almost scored a second in stoppage time when he blasted a curler that was well saved by a diving Bodadilla.
Sweden has certainly made the most of their one goal in the tournament thus far, earning four points with it and a second place standing in Group B.
